My family has called Kauaʻi home for three generations, and I was raised on the island. Photographing here feels personal. Whether you're celebrating a wedding, gathering family together, or marking an important milestone, my goal is simple: to create photographs that feel like you.

Let’s Create Something Together

As a photojournalist, artist, and documentary photographer, I've spent more than a decade photographing people from all walks of life for publications including TIME, The New York Times, National Geographic, Rolling Stone, and The Washington Post. My photographs are also held in the collections of museums including the New Orleans Museum of Art, The Historic New Orleans Collection, and MCA Denver.

What I love most…

I love paying attention to the moments happening just beneath the surface—the quiet exchanges, inside jokes, family traditions, and gestures that tell the story of who you are together.

I love the moments that can't be planned—the way your grandmother laughs, the look you exchange when no one else is watching, the chaos of getting ready, the friends who traveled thousands of miles to celebrate with you. Those are often the photographs people return to years later.
